I See You

It wasn’t until that breath—suspended between inhale and exhale—that I realized how much I needed myself. I finally said and meant I see you. I’d spent years burying every impulse for solitude beneath the weight of expectations and endless to-dos for everyone but me.

But on this day, I gave myself permission to press pause. I sat straight up, filled my lungs with quiet air, close my eyes, and let the constant pull of life slip away. In that pull and push of wanting to control what I'd been conditioned to focus on, I was able to hush the impulse. The deepest corner of my soul finally surrendered its voice. I gasped for air as if I had been held under water but now I was able to swim to the top and breathe in. Though the noise of life was still happening some how it seemed to be on top of me, out of reach with sounds muffled, but somehow I was being held with that one intentional breathe. I felt Still, I felt Peace, I felt Me.

After years of silence, that voice arrives as a whisper—fragile, almost hidden—but unmistakably mine. It reverberates through my core, shining a mirror on the truest parts of who I am beyond any mask I’ve worn.

And as that gentle echo gathers strength, I know I must speak to myself with new intention. Because this isn’t just a moment of reflection—it’s the lifeline I’ve been waiting for.

I cried out loud hold on with all your might, this feels real, I knew my change was coming.

I felt the scripture Philippians 4:7 that talks about the Peace of God the surpasses all understanding.

I then exhaled releasing all that was, so I invite you to bring your full attention as I Unearth Me, and I will hold space as you Unearth yourself let's run towards freedom together.
