Tis The Season: Agreements With Wisdom

Tis the season.

Not just for twinkling lights, full calendars, and the kind of busy that makes time blur — but for remembering who we are when we are centered. For choosing what we say yes to. For letting our spirit lead, instead of our pressure, fear, or habit.

I’ve been thinking a lot about agreements lately.

We make them every day — some loud and obvious, others barely whispered in the quiet of our thoughts. We agree to show up. We agree to shrink. We agree to settle. We agree to try again. And whether we realize it or not, every agreement is a doorway. It opens us into an energy, a direction, a version of ourselves.

When we allow ourselves to be centered — truly centered — we stop making agreement out of urgency. Out of people-pleasing. Out of proving something. Instead, we make agreement with wisdom… and with the understanding of high vibration. And here is what happens when we do:

We find ourselves in places curated with love.

I made an agreement to set up as a pop-up in a space that felt like it was built from intention. Tables and chairs already waiting for vendors like a gentle “we’ve got you.” Decor placed by hands that understand how an environment can soothe the soul. Soft music floating through the room, not loud enough to demand attention, just steady enough to remind us to breathe. The energy wasn’t chaotic — it was alive. Electric in the way gratitude becomes when it fills a room.

And what stood out most wasn’t just how beautiful the space looked… it was how beautiful the people were in it.

I heard good mornings that felt like blessings. “How can I help you?” said with sincerity. “It’s an honor to be here with you. ”I pray you have a good day.”

There was a reverence in the air. Not the stiff kind — the real kind. The kind that says community matters. The kind that understands our products aren’t just items on a table… they’re offerings. They’re here to serve, to support, to add warmth to someone’s life.

Even money was treated differently in that room.

Not rushed. Not grabbed for. Respected.

It was understood that customers should be able to wander, listen, and let the merchandise speak to them. And only then — when something truly resonated — should a purchase be made. No pressure. No scarcity games. Just space for alignment.

And in that alignment, blessings found me.

I made new connections that felt like seeds planted in good soil. I was gifted the joy of reconnecting with families I once served as an Early Education Director — faces from an earlier chapter returning like a reminder that love travels, and good work echoes.

I sipped my tea… and before I knew it, five hours had flown by.

Not because I was drained and pushing through, but because I was nourished. My soul was satisfied in the way that only happens when you’re in the right place, at the right time, with the right spirit.

We met our goal. We cleaned our space. We shared many hugs, and said goodbye until next time — the kind of goodbye that doesn’t feel like ending, but like continuation.

And leaving that day, one thing was crystal clear:

This is the spirit I want to spend all my holidays with. This kind of intention. This kind of love. This kind of community. This kind of peace that still feels powerful.

So here’s what I’m holding close — and what I want to pass to you:

Tis the season to be mindful. Pay attention to what you are agreeing to — and what energy lives inside that yes.

Tis the season to be led with Love. Not just in how you treat others, but in how you honor yourself.

Tis the season to be grateful. For spaces that restore us. For people who meet us with kindness. For the quiet miracles that happen when we choose wisdom over rushing.

May we all make agreements that lift our vibration. May we all say yes from a centered place. And may we all remember that the holidays are not only something we celebrate — they are something we become.

Tis the season. Let it be a season of intention.
